1. One of the most important things Jesus said to his disciples was this - 'Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. (Matthew 28: 19-20). So the question is who discipled you? What did they do?

But grasping and passing is not a once off thing as Chris said its an ongoing thing - when was the last time you had a conversation with someone about what God might be doing in your life or even what he might be doing in their life?
4. Chris mentioned three types of people - soldier (who looks up), athlete (who immerses in things to help grow), farmer (who perseveres) - which do you think you are? Why?
5. Which do you need more of - do you need to persevere more, look up more, immerse more? How will you do this?
6. Have you ever asked someone the question 'I'm looking to read the Bible with someone - would you be interested?' How did that go? What did you do? Maybe the challenge for you is to ask someone that question and see what their response is?
