Day 1. John 3:16 NTE
This, you see, is how much God loved the world: enough to give his only, special son, so that everyone who believes in him should not be lost but should share in the life of God’s new age.

Day 5. Luke 1:26-27 NIV
In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.
Day 6. Luke 1:28 NIV 
The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”

And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.

Day 12. Matthew 1:18-19 NTE 
This was how the birth of Jesus the Messiah took place. His mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph; but before they came together she turned out to be pregnant – by the Holy Spirit.
Day 13. Matthew 1:18-19 NTE 
Joseph, her husband-to-be, was an upright man. He didn’t want to make a public example of her. So he decided to set the marriage aside privately.
Day 14. Matthew 1:20 NTE 
But, while he was considering this, an angel of the Lord suddenly appeared to him in a dream.
Day 15. Matthew 1:21 NTE
‘Joseph, son of David,’ the angel said, ‘Don’t be afraid to get married to Mary. The child she is carrying is from the Holy Spirit. She is going to have a son. You are to give him the name Jesus; he is the one who will save his people from their sins.’

All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet: “Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’”

Day 19. John 1:10-12 GNT 
The Word was in the world, and though God made the world through him, yet the world did not recognize him. He came to his own country, but his own people did not receive him. Some, however, did receive him and believed in him; so he gave them the right to become God's children.
Day 20. John 1:14 MSG 
The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. We saw the glory with our own eyes, the one-of-a-kind glory, like Father, like Son, Generous inside and out, true from start to finish.
Day 21. John 14:6 NTE
‘I am the way,’ replied Jesus, ‘and the truth and the life! Nobody comes to the father except through me.
Day 22. Isaiah 9:6 NIV
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Day 23. Isaiah 9:7 GNT
His royal power will continue to grow; his kingdom will always be at peace. He will rule as King David's successor, basing his power on right and justice, from now until the end of time. The Lord Almighty is determined to do all this.
