There are many margins in our society and people in these situations can feel isolated vulnerable and lonely without a place where they feel they belong. We
understand that belonging is the cry of the human heart, so New Community Care exists to help people thrive no matter which margin they find themselves a part of.

For people who find themselves on the margins because of addiction, our faith based 12 step program called Connexions can provide a supportive group where you can take a step forward.

For people who find themselves on the margins because of lack of resources like food, or even clothing, New Community Care runs a Community Meals program in Croydon and has an Op-shop in Ringwood East to help people find the resources they need.

For people who find themselves on the margins because of life’s circumstances, Heal Clinic is a place where dignity, acceptance and belonging are values that aren’ t just stated they are demonstrated.
We share lunch, activities, haircuts and remedial massage to those needing support.

For people who find themselves on the margins because of loneliness and isolation Lion Cubs is an interactive music/ playgroup in Lionsbrae residential care. This helps the elderly and vulnerable in our community find connection and moments of joy as they associate with preschoolers and their families.
You can play a role in helping people on the margins thrive through your tax-deductable donation (auspiced by Victorian Baptist Community Care).
