Baptism

When Jesus walked the earth he gave his followers some pretty simple instructions about the way that they should live. One of the main things he said was to go and make disciples, baptising them and teaching them to obey all that he had commanded. As a result baptism is one of the first steps that people take to affirm their belief in Jesus and demonstrate their willingness to live life according to his will for their lives. Baptism is often referred to as an outward expression of an inward decision but it's not only that - it's an opportunity to declare your faith in Jesus and say not only that you believe in Jesus but that you want to follow him all the days of your life.
